Dear Alumni and Friends: It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us for the inaugural Pan-Asian Reunion in Hong Kong, China, October 24 – 26, 2008. The Reunion will offer a unique opportunity for approximately 500 alumni, faculty, prominent business leaders from around the world, and Asian political leaders to gather under the auspices of Columbia Business School. Columbia Business School’s international reunion tradition began in Paris in 1992 with 100 participants from five countries. Our most recent international reunion was held in Rome in 2006 and was attended by more than 700 alumni and guests from 35 countries. We look forward to continuing this success in Hong Kong. This year’s Reunion focus is “Asia and the World Economy.” We will combine the best minds of the business world and our academic community to showcase Columbia Business School as a primary example of bridging theory and practice. The symposium will highlight Columbia Business School faculty members and alumni business and political leaders who will discuss topics ranging from international finance to real estate to global branding. The Pan-Asian Reunion is an ideal occasion to take advantage of our strong global network, an invaluable benefit of being Columbia Business School alumni. It is a chance to reconnect with friends and meet other members of the Columbia Business School community from around the world. We hope you will be able to join us in Hong Kong for our inaugural Pan-Asian Reunion. With regards,
